ound 3 years ago i used this game at low bets to clear wagering requirements on bonuses and this games perfectly suits for such goal. My best hit on this slot was around x 350 total bet on eurogrand casino. I played this game a lot in different occasions, for example when i get big bonus, and was doing well, and just want to save my balance and clear bonuses with less losses, i just open this game and start playing at low bets, and usually game help me a lot because i simply end wagering with the same money with which i started. Of course few times i get really bad streaks on this game but most times game perfectly do its job, and i was able to withdraw nice amounts.

Last time i played this game in 2013 with 100$ balance and 200$ left to wager, i start playing at 0.45 bets, and after about a hour i finished wagering requirements with 120$ on my balance, which is really great result, and this is why i like this game.
Game variance is medium or even low, and game was created long time ago, but i rate this game with 7 stars, because it is perfect one to make wagering requirements for bonus, and because this game helps me many times to get nice winnings. Of course game boring and not interesting, but when you hit big and worry about your money, you can try to use this game, and most likely you will be happy with the outcome.

At first glance this slot did not look very promising, 9 paylines, poor explanation of the game, a fairly simple design, still decided to try it to form my own opinion and these is what I found: the background music and sound effects, suitable for a pirate themed slot, are very entertaining and fun, and despite appearances, this is not such a trivial detail because it helps us to stay awake and keep interested in the game. Also I found that the average number of hits is not so bad considering they are only nine paylines, additional payouts are decent and it has a wild symbol that serves as substitute and doubles profits, and although this video slot has no special features, such as free spins and bonus rounds, I think no need, in my opinion, all these add charm to this game by turning it into a fairly stable slot, a very appropriate tool to use in moments when the target is to meet wagering requirements to clear bonus, no negligible when you consider that Playtech casinos constantly offer deposit bonuses, some more generous than others.

Playing Captain's Treasure for a long time, I was able to keep my initial balance plus a small profit, it has not seemed a boring game to me, and I think its low volatility makes it a game that should not be underestimated. On many sites I find good reviews about this video slot and I think its reputation has foundations.

Most of the time I opened it just a couple of seconds later after I made deposit; and later when I saw 9 pay lines I closed it. I did not want to play it just because there is 9 paylines.

But I came back to it later, when my balance was under 10€. I decided to play it on minimum bets, sometimes I raised a little bit my balance but at the end I lost the money. I had some decent winnings, but most of the time were empty spins. I think this game is good, the paytable looks really good for some five of the kind symbols but I had no luck on it.

The game could become boring because there is no free spins or any bonus game. I do not like to play this kind of game, where is no any feature at all.

I think I could play it again, but only when my balance will be under 5€. I am sure I will never make deposit to play just this game. It is not so perfect for me and I think there is many other Playtech games with 9 pay lines which could be more fun to play it with some bonus or free spins feature. I really miss this at Captain's Treasure, I think it would be better with some bonus game.

I will rate it with 6 out of 10 possible stars. I do not know if I will play it again so soon. It is an old game with not so good graphics, animation design and music, sound.

To compare it with any new contemporary games would be rather unfair and unrealistic, so lets look at it at how it plays and pays, and to what levels of entertainment it could bring.

Captain's Treasure is a 9-paylines 5-reels slot game and is devoid of any thrilling free spins or bonus feature games. Being a straight no-frills game, one can only expect enjoyment from it by its payouts. There are no bonus symbols to catch on the reels and the Wild symbols do not carry any win value either. A Wild symbol only provide a substitution for any other symbol, except for the scatter symbol, to create any possible win on the 9 paylines. This Wild symbol does not even double up any wins, unlike Wilds in certain other similar games. Having said that, lets take a look at the symbols used. There are the usual 9, 10, J, Q, K and A, followed up by a steering wheel, anchor, log sheets, and at the very top of the list, a pair of swords, which pay out 5000x the line bet. A treasure chest is the scatter symbol, paying out 100x the total bet for 5-of-a-kind. As you can see here, all win values are only half of their current counterparts, but 18 years ago, such paytables were the norm for 9-and-less-payliners.

Personally, I have played this game only on a few occasions, making a few small wins but getting mostly losses. Not good at all is it? The worse part was, and still is, trying to keep or maintain one's interest in the game whilst playing it! Watching as the reels spin is never that exciting, especially when there aren't any animations to catch your interest. My eyes went to sleep on many occasions even though I wasn't ready for it yet! Hahaha. Nowadays, animations are playing an important role in every new game. They catch your interest, they keep you entertained and they can even make you laugh too. Only giggles? Okay, fair enough, for those who lack funny bones in their bodies, but some animations can be really funny! If they don't get you laughing for a few seconds at least , you'd probably have lost too much already! Hehehe. Whoops! Still not laughing huh? Never mind.

For a refresher, I logged into my Playtech fun account, pick the Captain's Treasure game out, set my bet to $9, and just let it roll! Started with $2000, and 1 hour later, the balance is showing just over $4400! That easy to win? Not on your life! That's just playing in the fun mode, whereby wins do come more easily! A lot of players doubt this, but I for one, know it for a fact! I can prove it too, but that's another story. Today alone, I played 2 games in the fun mode, and both of them made wins! Try doing that with real money play! But if you do win, whoopie, must be your lucky day! Hehehe. Eh? So what am I trying to say? If you don't like playing Captain's Treasure, then go find another pleasure to play! A game I mean, but if you prefer something else, go ahead, it's your call anyway! Hahaha.

I like playing this game but I cannot say that I am very fascinated with the payouts. I do not remember winning anything bigger than 20 x bet during the base game. The fact is that this is a very simple slot and it does not offer a bonus round.

This is 5 reels and 9 pay lines video slot game. The sound effects and the graphics are quite suitable for a pirate theme slot. A great addition to this game is the wild symbol which substitutes all the other symbols and doubles the profit. The main reason actually why I play Captain`s Treasure is that this is a great slot when you have high wagering requirements. The payouts are really low, but since it is a 9 pay lines video slot game it is easier to hit a winning combination on at least couple of lines so there are no empty spins. This way the game does not eat your money all at once. I never win a lot but I do not lose all my money all at once. On the other hand, I chose to play this exact slot when I want to play a game for a longer period. I always have a small profit every time. There is one down side when it comes to this slot, and that is I always feel bored. There are no animations to keep me interested for a longer period of time.

I would say that it is always a matter of taste, but Captain`s treasure is a slot that it is definitely worth trying.

At least with a feature you stand a chance to win some cash, but in this game is not like that.

The game also has bad graphics and reminds me of an old pub game that nobody plays.

The theme of the game is pirates and just like them the game is very greedy. I have never managed to make a profit on this game. It always bores me half to death and takes my cash.
I think only a couple of times I managed to win around €3 on €0.18 bet, and this were my biggest wins. All of the other times, the wins are much greater and sometimes even less that my bet.

The game also has scatters and they mix with wilds. You need to get them from left to right or right to left for them to work. The only way to get good cash on them, is when you get five of them. They don't have to be on a line so 5 on any position should pay huge.

The game definitely needs some change and repair. The graphics have to be upgraded and bonus or free spins should be added to the game. This would make it more popular and fun. And that is all a player needs. A fun game with a chance to win big.

Over all, the game is boring and i am not a big fan of it. The pays are ok, but difficult to get and the game has no bonus or feature. My rating for this game is 4 out of 10.
