African Simba is a 5 reels and 243 ways to win video slot game. The main attraction of this game is the free spins round. The mountain scene symbol is the scatter and you need at least 3 on the reels to trigger the free spins bonus game. I must say that I have triggered the free spins only twice or three times in total. The first time I managed to retrigger the free spins so instead of 12 I ended up with 24 free spins. The wins are multiplied with x 3 here. I ended up the game with a 750 x bet win. After that I always hope that I will repeat that win again.
During the base game there are some regular wins but I have never managed to land a 5 of a kind win of some of the higher paying symbols. Most often I was getting 3 flamingos or 3 meerkats which are worth only 150 coins.
Like any other game that comes from Novomatic, African Simba too has some nice graphics but the sound effects are killing me. I do not think that it is possible to come up with a more annoying sound. I really think that they should have paid attention to that more. Anyhow, African Simba is a really nice game with a huge potential to pay big.
