Gameplay here is very simple, but at same time is very interesting. Payouts are very good, but this is because there are 10 lines. Unfortunately wilds here do not have any extra feature, but it is not so bad because they land pretty often and help to complete winning lines. Also there is some special thing with scatters and wilds, wilds double scatter wins or something like this, but I did not figured how it is exactly work.

Freespins feature is similar to Columbus slot game made by Novomatic. You get 10 freespins when 3 ships appears on reels 1 3 5 in same time. And during freespins ships will work as wilds. Very simple feature, but still very interesting, and also it can be retriggered. First time I got freespins in this game I have retriggered it 3 times, and had pretty solid 250 bets win.

I like this game. Of course get freespins feature is very hard, but even without it payouts are very good. And there is also gamble option for those who want even bigger wins. Feature seems coming rare, but always paying decent, lowest one I had was 30 bets and it is good because you always can expect at least something with it.

There are Scatter, Wild and bonus symbols in the game and each has its own function. The wild can land on any reel and substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter and bonus symbol. The scatter symbols lands on any reel and only awards a payout, while the bonus symbol (Ship) can only land on reels 1, 3 and 5 and triggers the free spins bonus. If you get a combination of two or more scatters with 1 or more wilds the scatters payout is doubled with each wild symbol on the screen. This way you can get some decent wins during base play.

There are no stacked symbols during base play, but this is a game where you can wager a lot without dropping in balance. 5 of a kind wins are often and they have a pretty big payout so your balance will be leveled most of the time.

Like in all other video slot games the biggest payouts in the game can come during the free spins bonus. Once the bonus is triggered with Ships on reels 1, 3 and 5 you will get 10 free spins. There are no multipliers added and everything in the game functions like in base play with one little exception. The bonus symbols (Ships) also act as additional wild symbols. The free spins can be re-triggered with another set of 3 Ships on the corresponding reels and this is when the biggest wins happen. With two Wild symbols in the game you can get a lot of 5 of a kind wins during the bonus round and you can win a lot of money. This is why Nelson is one of my favorites in Amatic casinos.

I am still not very understand how scatters + wilds works. Same as ships + wilds, looks like they did not substitute for each other.
