The New Face of 777.be is Jean-Claude Van Damme
Action film actor Jean-Claude Van Damme is expected to be the focus of a new online sportsbook and advertisement for Belgium casino 777.be. The latest contract will see the Belgian-born Hollywood legendary film star continuing its relationship with the local sportsbook until 2022.
This is the first time that Jean-Claude Van Damme has leaned his name to casino brand 777.be. Van Damme has collaborated with the brand on their publicity campaign for 2019, which generated 13 million views on YouTube. Van Damme plays a superhero in the new initiative, which is out to teach players the responsible gambling habits.
In September this year, Van Damme posted 2 clips for the venture. Both can be played on European TF1 channels in Wallonia, and on VTM in Flanders, as well as YouTube. The showman is still displaying some of his famous action film styles while encouraging safe and responsible gambling activities.
777.be is pleased that their relationship with Belgium's most famous star will continue. In a letter to the media, Marketing Director Jean-Christophe Choffray commented:
“We are delighted to have Jean-Claude Van Damme on board to help us educate our players about responsible gameplay. Moderation is essential, and with this campaign, Van Damme very effectively combines his talents and humour to get this very important message across to our players and establishing 777.be as a prestigious online casino.”
777.be is partnered with the Casino de Spa, one of the oldest casino properties in the market. One may date their participation in the casino industry back to 1763. 777.be currently operates online casino and sportsbook facilities. If they can duplicate the success of the 2019 campaign, the partnership with Van Damme is projected to open several marketing channels.
The 777.be alliance is the latest to carry celebrities back to the industry along a long line of celebrity support. 777.be is the only company that can use celebrity ads to draw the interest of clubs. In November 2019 Parimatch enlisted the assistance of former UFC Champion Conor McGregor to promote their brand in the Eastern European market. The recognition of McGregor comes off the back of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson's participation.
The casino and gambling industry is no stranger to collaborations with celebrities in the sport and entertainment business. Earlier this year, NBA legend Michael Jordan inked a contract with DraftKings, while singer Sir Mix-a-Lot and Soulja Boy have appreciated the rewards of lending their name to the casino industry.
