Bet365 launches upgraded online betting golf app

Bet365 has expanded by incorporating the Live Golf Tracker to improve its in-play markets and provide a more precise and consistent live betting experience.

Golf Tracker Becomes Bet365's In-Play Markets New Monitoring Platform

Bet365 has expanded its experience with a new, dedicated Live Golf Tracker to offer in-play betting options for the golf markets. Sport bettors can now help watch putt, iron, and drive movements down to split seconds in real-time.

The solution is operated by IMG Arena, and along with this week's BMW Championship, it had a pilot launch on October 8, in time for the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, part of the PGA Tour and one of the most popular golfing activities.

Bet365 has confirmed that the new app helps sport enthusiasts to filter leaderboards by scorecards and events, and to benefit from an in-depth shot-by-shot data summary analysis for each event.

Furthermore, Bet365 will broadcast two par-3 holes every day, supplementing a more conventional addition of the betting experience. Players will welcome a new monitoring course feature that provides visual assistance to sports enthusiasts in observing each event's progress.

The in-play solution for the IMG Arena was built with ShotLink framework, a partner of the PGA Tour. Shotlink as official partner supported and synthesized data for the PGA Tour.

IMG Arena updated its system recently to meet international requirements for the quality of knowledge sent back during live betting competitions to sportsbooks and customers. ShotLink uses a variety of monitoring software to ensure that the data it trawls from live games is accurate.

This includes greenside cameras, walking scorers and lasers, now supported by the latest GPS system and new lenses from IMG Arena. Bet365 has been aggressively trying to hire more workers for the technology department of the company, amid the fact that Bet365 has hired 100 in recent months. There are still some 118 vacancies available which point to more growth interest.

Bet365: Good Results Continue To Be Posted In Main Markets

Bet365 has continued to grow its reach internationally, concentrating in particular on emerging and growing markets. The business continues to lead in Italy where, amid new regulations imposed by the Italian government, it posted €11.5 million in gross gaming revenue (GGR) outpacing the country's competition for another month.

Bet365 has expanded its presence in the betting room for sports by forming a strategic alliance with Winners.net (by Win.ggs), a website devoted to sourcing and providing comparative information for betting markets and odds for sports.

Several existing brands, including PointsBet and MGM, have also launched online esports odds on Winners.net. Bet365 has now set up activities in New Jersey where the company's efforts have been stepped up by investing marketing capital.

According to Google Analytics, organic searches for the Bet365 brand have also risen, contributing to the firm's stable business model. Bet365 has been involved at home in the battle against COVID-19, raising $125 million along with GVC Holdings and William Hill in the UK to help combat the pandemic.

Bet365 and Playtech revealed a fresh alliance for the New Jersey market in August, whereby Playtech launched its proprietor casino service in the Garden State on Bet365s digital skin.
