Microgaming's games are mostly favored by jackpot hunters. That's not to say that the game machine doesn't have other redeeming qualities, but its simplicity is certainly not going to excite video slots fans that are used to more bells and whistles. ...

The graphics are nice and it has a progressive jackpot. And for that it gets one star for each of them. But that’s it. This Treasure Nile jackpot slot is a nice slot for beginners but with the betting level set at 4.50 and the jackpot not being random we are just playing for the Egyptian theme and not the treasure. ...

game ReviewThe games game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard do not publish the slots house edge information of their games. However they lease their slots games out to casinos using other software, some of which do publish this information. So far we’ve only found one casino – Monaco Aces – that has published this information for Treasure Nile and they list the house edge as 7.89%. When playing at any other venue, this information should be used as a guideline only as the game may be configurable.A mythical battle is about to commence. This Treasure Nile is an outrageous money-eating game by Microgaming!

The coin value is fixed at $0.50 per line, with no option to change it, but you can play from 1 line up to 9 lines. Yeah right! And hope to get a nice win from playing with just 1 line? The Pyramids is the Wild symbol in the game, substituting for other symbols except the Scatter symbol, but cannot complete any win for the Jackpot prize. It is a totally dumb Wild symbol that doesn't pay anything for itself, it doesn't double any wins with it, nor does it become stacked or expanded. The Scarab is the Scatter symbol, paying a low 50x the total bet for getting 5 of them, but doesn't award any free spins or any other feature. What the argh! The Pharaoh pays 6000x the line bet for 5 of them, but getting 5 of them on the 9th payline wins the Jackpot prize. The other symbols pay from 3000x to 100x the line bet for getting 5 of each kind. A quite good paytable but with a ridiculous starting bet size per spin!

I mean to think that bets of $1.25 or $2.25 are better to use than $4.50 per spin. That's gigantic per spin for a 9 paylines slot! It's even more so that I can still hit a jackpot round on Mega Moolah for less than $1.25. Treasure Nile isn't like the rest of the progressives as it contains no features to harvest potential winnings for free (From free spins or bonus rounds, that's where the magic starts) and chase down losses. No Free spins or a bonus round can make me definitely bored as far as progressive slots are concerned.

It doesn't create a fun atmosphere and so I have only played for 15 minutes. Ho Ho oh, my balance was at the mercy of this slot, the way it drops my balance quickly for $4.50 a spin! The Jackpot needs all 5 Pharaoh symbols on the last payline for MAX BET to hit the progressive which I find to be ridiculous. My chances are better on Mega Moolah or King Cashalot! The fewer things that serve well during my time are 3 scattered scarabs. They gave out $22.50 every time but what they do need is to have a payout for 2 scarabs because they came 3 times in my spins during the 15 minutes and I felt like I got scammed a bit. That's $4.50 x 3 = $13.50 in bets flushed away to see them do nothing for me!

This is how it is sometimes in slots, a few spins they give and in others they reaped my wallet! Wild pyramids being of little help to combinations, extravagant bets of $4.50 per spin, no features whatsoever and my recommendations are to let your balance rest in the hands of other progressive slots unless you'd prefer to become the daring and dauntless of players ;) ! Haha Go Daredevil! Treasure Nile is a 5.6 out of 10!

What would any player say, or think of it, when a game eats all of $20 deposited money in just 5 blardy lousy spins? Lots of profanities, that's for sure! I even gave it a 1-middle-finger salute! Treasure Nile can even eat $45 or more in one straight go without even paying back one single cent! And knowing how Microgaming games can go for over 20 spins without paying any single cent back, the chances of losing $90 within 1 or 2 minutes are real! Avoid playing this game if you cannot play with a starting bankroll of at least $200.
